Andy Matheson went to CVDCS high school in Chelmsford Ontario Canada and played in a local rock band.His father worked at INCO and had a sheep farm part time.Jeff Matheson his father told me Andy left to pursue his rock band career in England.I believe he did have a top 50 song during the early punk era.Who knows what he is doning now.

My band Sylvain (previously BIG WHITE STAIRS) almost reenacted their career in the 90s without knowing. We sucked at the marquee and blew it with our london managment company (yes just as shady as worldwide artists alnost) and blew it with the nme when our perma -pissed frightengly hard looking rhythm guitarist jumped into the crowd and sigue hailed his way through our last song

More like 1974 m8y.. Definately from the early 1970's. Yes Brats are class. Check out 1976 English Punk Band The Boys. Casino Steel German keyboardist of the HB played keyboard for them. They cover some of Brats tunes.They are 100% Quality. All are accomplised musicans singers and songwriters. Never get a mention anywhere ever. "Sex Pistols" dont make me laugh. The Damned released the very 1st Punk single in '76 New Rose. They also released the very 1st Punk Lp and also staged the 1st ever European Punk Tour(76also). The boys signed 1st ever Punk mult-Album (5 l.p's) record contract. Sadly it ended badly 4 them. Contract difficulties led 2 them been stuck inli mbo. Unable 2 break the contract or sign 2 another label. Were'nt even legaly allowed 2 play any gigs. They solved these problems by secretly rearranging the letters of Boys 2 Yobs and giggin in disguise. Yobs are class also and released records. Their Christmas L.P is quality. Infact this last Xmas day i was banging it out. Top version of Silent Night which is in German. 12 days of Christmas is hillarious. Must b Barry Sullivan (Porn King of Soho Owner of Sunday Sport tits and ass filled 'Newspaper' Owner. Ex Birmingham City FC owner & Multi-Billionaire. The gifts 4 the 12 days must b 4 some porn star and include blow up dolls vibrators Rubber Johnnies etc. Check out The Worm Song u will love it.Boys av got their own music dvds but check out. Ramones live at Norwich(i think its Norwich) 1979 with Boys supporting. Boys got abot 7 or 8 superb music cds.b warned tho their pricey & hard 2 get . 1 Classic tune after another Brilliance just keeps coming. My personal fave is Brickfield Nights. Written & sung by The Boy's Matt Dangerfield bout his youth in Leeds where e comes from. its perfect in its way that rock ,which produced some radical early stories quickly morphed to what every ad man dreams about- the "self marketing consumer" bent on buying more of the poison that would take him/her to blissful oblivion.... think rock,. think trump, think change. the toxic ideology soon had a sound track - and the ,mindless -wretched excess goes on anon-.... the charge led by the guy who fronts the band.

I have the real Andrew Matheson and the Brats album 563 copies. Man this video is the best thing that has happen to me the last 15-20 years. I have allways loved and been inspired by this band and their sound.

Punker than everyone in the entire punk movement combined. More "rock n roll" than the Stones and the New York Dolls. Cooler than cool. The essence of hip. Use your brains people. Get a clue. Everyone should send him gifts and large amounts of money. Hollywood Brats forever!!! This song is amazing by the way.
